Southern AIDS Coalition is bringing policymakers together with advocacy leaders and people living with HIV for the 3rd Southern Policymaker Academy in Atlanta, GA on December 14-15, 2026.

This year, we are bringing together leaders from every Southern state and Washington, D.C. to strengthen cross-state coalition networks that can operate with a unified voice and collective influence. Over two days, participants will build policy literacy to drive transformative change, explore solutions to regional disparities guided by experts, advocates, and people living with HIV, and identify policies that are working toward ending the HIV epidemic. Attendees will also receive HIV impact education and data support to guide their decision-making, along with skills to influence both state and federal HIV policy.
